First of all I would like to congratulate the Maliyadeva GLOBE Club in launching there official website to the Internet. It would mark a forward step in this special project functioning under guidance of the ministry of Education and of all the GLOBE Clubs in Sri Lanka. Maliyadeva College GLOBE Club will be the first, to launch a website in regard to the topic.
Man is endangering the existence of animals including himself, due to the continues pressure excrted on nature. So, in a period where environmental consciousness is at its peak, this website will be great help teachers and students alike, both in Sri Lanka and abroad, in getting a clear image on the numerous projects continued by the GLOBE Club of the Maliyadeva College.
I would like to thank the members of the club for undertaking the responsibility in launching this website and there teachers who, always give them encouragement and guidance in any form of school activity. And I would like to present my best wishes, and would hope all their future projects would receive tremendous success.
